The last show of the year for us and what an enjoyable day we had, North Midlands & Eastern Counties Cocker Club put on a friendly show & a Christmas dinner which was rather yummy. Flossie (O.Calamity Jane) was placed 1st in Junior. Thank you to todays judge Chris Pearce (Miska)

A new addition to our family arrived in to the world today but this time not a furry one . .

Doris has now settled in to her new home in Cornwall, She is now living with one of her son's Buster & enjoying the lovely fresh coastal air. We really miss you Doris but we are so glad you are happy in your new home with your new family.

We havent been able to do as many shows as we would normaly do due to other commitments, However we did make it to Stafford & District Canine Society, A good entry of 35 awaited our judge Mr D Worgan (Luthame) Bertie (O Foreign Affair JW) won a large Open class in good company then he went on to win BOB.

We had a lovely day showing at Hereford & County Kennel,Bliss (BL Hot'N'Classic) was placed 1st in Graduate handled by Sarah. Bertie (O Foreign Affair JW) was back out showing after his break from the ring he thoroughly enjoyed his day out and we was chuffed with him winning his class & RBOB. Thank you to todays judge Mr B Rackett

A dull and windy start to todays show at Blackpool Champ Show but we had a successful day showing Bliss. (Black Lord Hot N Classic for Oramiss). Who was placed 2nd in yearling so she is now qualified for Crufts 2012.We know she is just going to love her time in the big ring and of course meeting the general public.

Today we were showing at Redditch & District Open show, We were pleased to see Flossie (O Calamity Jane) placed 1st in a lovely puppy class later on Flossie was placed 4th in the Gundog Puppy Group. Not forgetting Cilla (C.Cilla Black For O) who also won her class & RBOB.

We enjoyed a lovely sunny day today at Birmingham & District Gundog & Terrier Club. Bliss (Black Lord Hot'N'Classic For Oramiss) stole the day today showing herself beautifully winning her class & gaining BOB, Not forgetting Bertie (Oramiss Foreign Affair JW) who also was placed 1st. Bliss was shortlised from a super Gundog Group of 32 to the final 12. Thank You to the judge Mrs W Woolly.

1st & BOB Black Lord Hot 'n' Classic For Oramiss A nice compact black bitch. A very sweet and femmine head with kind eye and expression.Nice low set ears in super condition. Lovely neck into well set shoulders. Firm topline into well set on tail.Good angulation nice tight feet. Moved with determination and drive.Made to look effortless and very merry. All in all a super little girl. Watch out for this girl in the future.

We had a lovely day showing at Potteries & District. Bertie (Oramiss Foreign Affair JW) was placed 1st in his class today. Cilla (Claramand Cilla Black For OramissShCM) was also placed 1st in her class and later declared RBOB, A good day all round our thanks goes to todays judge Cheryl Blackley.

1st Oramiss Foreign Affair JW, Black Boy with a lovely masculine head with such a lovely expression, good bone nicely ribbed good feet with excellent strengh over loin in to hocks,Moved with purpose and drive good outline both standing an on the move pushed hard for RBOB, Well presented.

1st Claramand Cilla black For Oramiss ShCM, Such a femanine black bitch who has the softest of expressions good reach of neck in to nice lay of shoulder good rear angulation moved well nice tight feet and presentation is a credit to her owner.

Weather wise it has been an awful day, raining all day.But we arrived at Oakengates and district rearranged christmas show.It was very strange listening to christmas songs and having christmas trees all around in the middle of feb. Our puppy Oramiss Calamity Jane did us proud by getting BP and then went on to get Group 2 Puppy gundog all at the tender age of 7 months.Then Black Lord Hot 'N' Classic For Oramiss won her class RBOB. Oramiss Foreign Affair JW came 2nd in his class. So it turned out to be a fantastic day for the girls.Despite the best efforts from the weather Todays breed judge was Jane Maxwell(Bardrestan) The group judge was Miss E Bothwell (Norcis)

What a lovely weekend we have had. On Saturday we were showing at Rugby & District our new puppy Oramiss Calamity Jane (Flossie) started the day off by gaining BP & Puppy Group 4. Then not to be out done our import, Black Lord Hot 'N' Classic For Oramiss went BOB & Adult Group 4. Flossie was handled by our good friend Gail. Then on Sunday i was judging at Wellingborough & District Canine Society. I had a lovely entry & thoroughly enjoyed my day. I would like to say thank you to all the exhibitors.

Our first show of the year was Whitchurch & District Canine Society. We had a lovely day catching up with friends. It was Oramiss Calamity Jane (Flossie) first show, Flossie took everything in her stride and showed like a pro! Flossie was placed 3rd in Puppy, She is a repeat mating of Oramiss Foreign Affair JW, We look forward to campaining this cheeky girl throughout 2011. Oramiss Foreign Affair JW was placed 2nd Open behind the BOB winner

One of our favourite shows today Gundog Society Of Wales CH Show. Bertie was entered in a large Junior Dogs stakes class under Kathy Gorman, I was delighted when Bertie won this class, Then we challenged the Junior Bitch winner ... Bertie was awarded Best Junior - He never lets me down!

Today Bertie had the Goniscopy test performed under BVA.Scheme. Im pleased to say Bertie is unaffected!

A local show for us today -Bliss was placed 2nd in Puppy Bertie was also placed 2nd in Junior and awarded RBOB.

It was a cold start heading to South Wales Kennel Association. Bertie (Oramiss Foreign Affair JW) continues his winning ways and was placed 1st Junior Dog. Thankyou to todays judge Kathy Gorman.

We started our trip 'up north' today with some friends, We decided to stop all together whilst attending Driffield Champ Show & Yorkshire Cocker Spaniel Club. We all had a good laugh and our jaws were aching the next day. Friday wasnt our day but thats how showing goes our dogs did their best and we was pleased with that :) Well done to Kim for qualifying Eddie!The weather was awful glad we took our wellies! On Saturday we was at Yorkshire Cocker Spaniel CH Show, Bertie (Oramiss Foreign Affair JW) did us proud winning Special Beginners Dog plus a bag of food and a lovely rosette, Thankyou to todays judge Mrs T Bently (Canigou)

On Sunday we was showing at Stoke On Trent Gundog in Crewe under Mrs L Cooper (Megwellin) Bliss started the day of well being placed 3rd in a large puppy class her tail never stopped wagging and she was really enjoying her day out meeting and greeting every dog! Next was Bertie who was also placed 3rd in Juinor,I decided to take Cilla we was pleased we did as she won lovely open class and awarded BOB. Thankyou to todays judge.

We have had some good news from The Kennel Club! Bertie (Oramiss Foreign Affair) has now gained enough points towards his JW title, We are so proud of Bertie and this is also a first for us! Bertie is now known as:

More good news from The Kennel Club!! Cilla (Claramand Cilla Black For Oramiss) has also gained her ShCM title to her name and is now:

5/9/10 City Of Birmingham Canine Association Judge: Mrs B Muller [Switzerland]

This weekend has been very exciting!! Our new girl 'Bliss' Black Lord Hot'N'Classic For Oramiss arrived from Croatia. We would like to say a BIG thank you to Maja Horvat & Alexandra Loncaric for allowing Bliss to come and join us in England. Bliss is such a character and we love her so much already.

On Sunday we were showing at City of Birmingham Association. Bertie (O.Foreign Affair) started of the day well being placed 1st Junior Dog we are so proud of Bertie.Maja was showing Bliss who was in puppy bitch and was the baby of the class,she really enjoyed her day out and her tail just never stopped wagging (a true merry Cocker!) We were ever so pleased when she was shortlisted down to the final 7 from a large class of 17 puppies.

30/8/10 Leicester City Canine Society Judge: Silvanna Vuckovic [Serbia]

We have had a busy (but good) weekend, Another succesful day showing, Bertie (O Foreign Affair) was placed 2nd Junior then placed 1st Post Grad next in was Cilla (C.Cilla Black) was was placed 1st Open then awared BOB, Thank you to tdays judge. A bank holiday weekend we wont forget!!

29/8/10 Milton Keynes & District Canine Society Judge:Miss H Chaplin

Today we was showing in Northampton, The weather wasnt very nice but luckily we was showing indoors.We had another good day, Bertie(O.Foreign Affair) was placed 1st Junior & 1st Post Grad BOB & Gundog Group 4, Not forgetting Cilla (C.Cilla Black) who also was placed 1st Open & RBOB. A local show for us today we had a lovely day catching up with friends with a slice of birthday cake and a drop of wine to celebrate my birthday - Bertie did me proud by being placed 1st Junior & 1st Post Grad then awarded BOB & Gundog Group 3 Thank you to todays judges for a lovely birthday.

We had another sucessful day showing Bertie (Oramiss Foreign Affair) being placed 1st Junior & 1st Post Grad Bertie then was then awarded another RBOB .... Well done Bert!

7/8/10 National Gundog Association Judge Ms E Thomas

Today we was showing in Malvern at National Gundog Assoc, Bertie did us proud and was placed 2nd in a large Junior Class. Cilla took a well earned rest and chilled out for the day.

4/8/10 Bakewell Dog Show Judge Chris Pearce

Another wet day heading to Derbyshire - The judge had a good entry considering the show was in the week. Bertie was placed 1st Junior & 1st Post Grad not forgetting Cilla who also was placed 1st in Open bitch.Bertie was then declared RBOB. Thank you to todays judge.

A local show today for us only 20 mins up the road, we had another good day showing our small team.Bertie was placed 2nd in Junior next in the ring was Cilla who won Open bitch, Cilla was then shortlisted to the last 5 for BIS.

31/7/10 Britannia, Leek & District Show

It was a rather wet day today heading to Leek but luckily the rain stopped just before judging was going to start outside! We had a good day Bertie was placed 2nd in a large Junior class and Cilla won Open. Cilla was then awarded BOB this is Cilla's last point needed towards her ShCM title (subject to KC approval) Thankyou to todays judge.

18/7/10 The Cocker Spaniel Club Championship Show - Mr Webb (D) Miss J Darby (B)

Today we was showing in Malvern at The Cocker Spaniel Show, We had a lovely day catching up with our friends Bertie once again was a star he is really enjoying his showing he won his class & a bag of food. It was abit of a rush but we managed to get to this evening show. Our team had a good day Bertie (O Foreign Affair) was placed 1st in Junior & Post Grad ... Well Done Bertie! He also went RBOB. Cilla (C.Cilla Black) also did us proud again winning her class and awarded BOB, Thankgod they was able to show inside as we had an awful thunderstorm.

Another HOT day with the dogs coping better than we did. Bertie did me proud again by winning 1st Junior Dog under Bonnie Threlfall (USA) The only thing that spoilt the day was so terrible accidents on the way home making mine and everyone else's journey twice aslong - Sitting on the motoway when its 28 degrees is not fun! 2/6/10 Staffordshire & Birmingham Agricultural Show - Borie Johansson (Dogs) Theres Johansson (Bitches) (Sweden)

Today we was showing under Borie & Theres Johansson from Sweden - It was lovely to be showing outside in sunshine and the dogs enjoyed it on the grass. Bertie (O Foreign Affair) gained a 2nd in Junior & Post Grad which at just 12 months he is doing well in the company of much older dogs. Cilla (C.Cilla Black) also won Open Bitch in good company. 30/5/10 Shopshire Gundog Society - Mrs Nicholls

Today we was at Shropshire Gundog, my good friend Kim came along and we had a good day catching up and the dogs didnt do to bad either. Bertie (O.Foreign Affair) won Junior & Novice. Cilla (C.Cilla Black) won Open - Kim helped me out in the challange show Bertie who was awarded RBOB thanks Kim for your help and of course to todays judge.

22/5/10 UMAG International Dog Show

Today we received wonderful news of our new girl Bliss (Black Lord Hot'n'Classic) who will be arriving later in the year. Bliss attended her 1st show today Bliss showed us what a promising girl she is by wining Best Puppy Bitch. A big thank you to Maja Horvat for breeding this beautiful girl and allowing her to come and live with us at Oramiss, Thank you Maja.

23/5/10 Coventry & District Kennel Assoc Judge: Mr Grewcock (Ryanstock)

We must be slightly mad for showing in this heat at Coventry,but we survived! Bertie & Cilla coped very well.Bertie (O Foriegn Affair) was in Yerling & Post Grad and won both classes he did really well considring he was with much older dogs Well done Bert! Not forgetting Cilla (C.Cilla Black) who won Open & RBOB.We are all back home now cooling of, thankyou to todays judge Mr Grewcock next week we are at Shropshire hopefully it will be a bit cooler

8/5/10 Birmingham Dog Show Soc Judge:Mrs B Rice-Stringer

It was a cold and wet day today at Stafford but we still enjoyed our day with Bertie (O.Foreign Affair) getting a 3rd place in his first Junior class,Bertie was with much older dogs so we was very pleased with this result.

2/05/10 The Witney & District Canine Society Judge: Mr A Schofield

We have been showing today with our lovely Bertie (O.Foreign Affair) Today this was Bertie's last show in puppy he finished in style.Winning his class gaining BP & another RBOB!Bertie then was awarded Gundog Puppy Group 2 under Peter Upton (Tragus). He is now with the big boys so a new challange is ahead of us which im sure he will enjoy.He really loves to show off and is a joy to own and show.Well done Bertie we are very proud of your sucess to date.

Today we have been showing at Malvern,In beautiful sunshine and with the company of good friends a good time was had by all,We are so pleased to say our lovely Bertie (O.Foreign Affair) has continued his sucess by winning Puppy Dog & then getting Best Puppy Dog.Thankyou to todays judge Mrs Platt.

18/04/10 Leominster Canine Society Judge: Mr Alastair Moss

We had a lovely day showing today,It started of very well with Bertie (O Foreign Affair) winning his class beating much older dogs we then gained Best Puppy & also Best Of Breed and Puppy Group 2 by Mr David Moss.Cilla also did us proud by winning her class & RBOB.

28/03/10 Retford Canine Society - Judge: Mr Ray Mcdonald

What a super day we have had,Bertie (O.Foreign Affair) went BP RBOB & Group 3 not bad for a 10month puppy. Cila was a star again always loves to show she gained BOB Group 1 and then got 4th Best In Show.

Oramiss Foreign Affair - 10mth Black dog. Lovely shape throughout. Good head with dark eye and nice expression. Excellent front and rear assemblies, strong and well muscled body, well turned stifles. In good coat. moved with confidence, true and with correct cocker action. BP, RBOB and PG3

Claramand Cilla Black For Oramiss - 2 yr beautiful feminine bitch of good shape in lovely coat and condition. Very nice head leading to a super front assembly. Well ribbed and a good rear used well on the move showing a happy true typey action. Pleased to award her BOB then watch her take the gundog group1.

20/03/10 West Torrington & District - Judge: Mrs A Day

Today we was showing in Newark,Our team did us proud as as there was no puppy class Bertie (O Foreign Affair) was entered in Junior so we was very pleased when he won the class beating older dogs he was awarded BP & Gundog Group 2.Well done Bertie! Cilla also went very well for us winning Open & BOB.

Also well done to our friend Claire who won BP with her Cav puppy Norris this was a first for them both so a good day all round!

DFS CRUFTS 2010

We had a wonderful day catching up with friends & best of all our beautiful Cilla (Claramand Cilla Black for Oramiss) showed her socks off for us in the largest class of the day, she was in good company and was placed RES under the well know judge Mr Frank Kane. This completed a super day for us!

6/03/10 South Wales & Mon Cocker Spaniel Club - Judge: Mr A Murray (D) & Mr D Craig (B)

Bertie (O.Foreign Affair) gained 2nd place in Puppy Dog this was his first 'Puppy' class. Cilla was also placed 3rd in good company.

Another good weekend for Bertie (O.Foreign Affair) winning Best Puppy at Bromyard. Oramiss Foreign Affair has been doing us proud, these are a few of his results:

13/02/10 Rugby & District - Judge: Mrs J Ward

1st & BP - 9 month old smart black male with a good head, neck and shoulders. Well off for bone, well ribbed with good tailset and carriage. Nicely rounded hindquarters. Excellent coat. Moved very well. BP

07/02/10 Belper KA - Judge: Janice Caine

1st & BP & BPIS - Very nice solid black with very good head, eye, ears , good front assembly, firm top line retained on the move, good depth and spring of rib, nice bone & feet, sound on the move, put down in good condition.

06/02/10 Newark & Notts - Judge: Lesley Hipgrave

1st & BP & Group 4 - moved with drive, good shoulder and rear angulation. Best puppy

Claramand Cilla Black for Oramiss has also been doing well winning Best of Breed & Gundog Group 1 under Patsy Hollings at Rugby & District - A lovely 2 year old back bitch of very good quality, flat silky coat presented to perfection. Beautiful head with a soft, gentle expression, well bodied with very good spring of rib and nicely rounded muscular hindquarters. good bone and tight compact feet, very impressed on the move. BOB and Group 1

Then winning Best of Breed & Gundog Group 4 under Tom Graham. That was a lovely weekend!
